I had a wonderful evening last night playing to a fantastic audience at St Paul’s Chiswick. An all Russian programme (well, with the certain exception of Ravel!) which was challenging, but most enjoyable.
Well have just finished working on the opening of St Pancras International Terminal. I have to say, although I did very little at the event, it was truly an occasion I am proud to be part of. To be conducting a choir in front of the Queen was certainly something to remember for a long time...
Well had a really good gig at the Barbican in London with Damon Albarn (of Blur and Gorillaz fame…), and had a interesting chat with Rufus Wainwright and Imogen Heap. This interesting evening was called Plague Songs...
